Granbury Log Cabins offers a 1867 Texas re-located Dogtrot Guesthouse, a hand-hewn log house that consists of two cabins separated by an open air breezeway. Each Cabin has a private entrance, central heat/air and ceiling fans.

The Cabins are equipped with Dish Satellite TV, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a Queen-size bed, and a large bath with a Jacuzzi tub/shower for two. The Loft overlooks the downstairs and has a futon seating area that can be made into a full size bed for children.

Texas Heritage Cabin also has a larger accommodation with a combination Living/kitchen/dining area and a Master suite with large tiled shower. This eco-friendly Cabin is made of Straw Bales stacked and secured in place and covered inside and out with stucco. To reduce the impact on the environment, many recycled materials were utilized in its construction.

You will find the Straw Bale Cabin ideal for a vacation rental or an extended stay of 30 days or longer. As our guest, you will sleep on a Queen-size bed and Yes, your children are welcome. We also have a Queen Sleeper sofa. 

The Straw Bale Cabin is fully equipped for all your needs with Dish Satellite TV, dishwasher, range, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and all the comforts of home including a washer/dryer.

We also offer a secluded retreat from your fast paced life. Enjoy just sitting outside rocking your cares away or take a leisurely walk and view the wildlife and birds. Enjoy Acton's small town flavor, restaurants and shopping. Your stay is only 7 miles from Granbury’s Historic Square, where you will enjoy shopping in more than 40 specialty shops and two live theatres, Granbury Opera House and Granbury Live.
